Elmo Gift Bags
I knew my friends’ kids love Elmo (who doesn’t?!) so I wanted to try out my new Sesame Street Font Cricut Cartridge and make them something nice.
What you’ll Need:
- Cricut Expression Machine
- Sesame Street Font Cricut Cartridge
- Plantin Schoolbook Cricut Cartridge
- Adhesive and Foam Dots
What kid (or adult?) doesn’t like gift bags? I absolutely love them! So I cut out some bags using the Plantin Schoolbook Cricut Cartridge. The bags looked plain because I just used yellow cardstock. I wanted to spruce it up a bit, so I embossed them with the CuttleBug. The boy bag had dots while the girl bag had cherry blossoms! That surely gave the bags a little more interest!
Tips:
The characters in this cartridges have a lot of small parts to assemble. Be sure to allow at least 1-2 hours time for the project. Since the pieces are small, you may want to cut the characters in 2″ height (or bigger).
