Etch-a-Sketch Thank You Card

Here’s a Thank You card that will surely put a smile on your friend’s face! The Etch-a-Sketch is such a classic toy that anyone would recognize. That’s where I drew the inspiration for this card. Best of all, it’s really easy to make!

What you’ll need:

• Cardstock – white, dark gray
• Red Card/Envelope Set
• Round corner punch (Optional)
• A Nickel (or Dime for smaller cards)
• Gold Pen
• Black Pen
• Adhesive

Your card could be any size, so adjust your cutouts accordingly. I personally like using the card/envelope sets when making many cards, but you can use regular cardstock also.

Use a red card as the base of the card. If you have a rounded corner punch, punch out all 4 corners to give it a smooth look. Cut the gray cardstock into a rectangle that will fit within the red card.

For the circle knobs, trace a nickel on white cardstock and cut out two circles. Adhere the gray cardstock to the red card, then add the white knobs.

With a black pen, write your message on the gray paper. With a gold pen, add the classic “Magic Etch A Sketch Screen” on top.

Write another message in the card and you’re ready to send it off and make someone smile!
