Cut the Rope, Om Nom Pops!

Here’s an easy way to make someone’s Valentine’s Day! Make a big batch of Om Nom Pops and hand them out! They’re so adorable and easy to make too.

I’m calling them “Om Nom Pops” because the star of the project is my favorite character from the game, “Cut the Rope.” It’s an iPhone/iPad puzzle game you have to try!

What you need:

  • 8×11 White Cardstock
  • Color Printer
  • Computer with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop
  • Lollipops
  • Regular or Double-sided Tape
  • Adhesive
  • Scissors
  • Heart Punch
  • Red/Pink Cardstock

Time:
Less than 5 minutes per lollipop

Step 1: First you’ll need to bring out Om Nom. You can be more creative at this step and draw/print out your own fun Valentine character. I found a wonderful Om Nom Template for this project. You can choose other Om Nom Templates as well. To save paper, I printed 9 Om Nom’s on my 8×11 white cardstock paper using Adobe Photoshop. You can also use Illustrator to print.

Step 2: Second, you’ll need to cut this little critter out. This will be the step that takes you the longest! It takes about 2-3 minutes to cut each one out.

Step 3: Punch some hearts out on red or pink cardstock.

Step 4: Cut along one of Om Nom’s leg so you can slide in a heart. Use adhesive to hold down the heart. Now your Om Nom decor is done.

Step 5: Use tape and put Om Nom on a lollipop! Now you got yourself a very cute treat!
